Role: IT Systems Administrator
Location: Dubai
Working Arrangement: Office Based
Salary: Up to 22kAED per month
As the IT Systems Administrator, you’ll take ownership of the technology environment that keeps the organisation running day to day. From identity and access to Microsoft 365, endpoints, networks and workplace technology, you’ll make sure our people have the secure, reliable systems they need to do their best work.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You’ll have the opportunity to shape how IT is managed, improve processes and put robust foundations in place as the organisation grows.
What you’ll be responsible for
You’ll own the core IT environment, including identity and access management, email and collaboration platforms, endpoint management, office networking and the joiner-mover-leaver process.
You’ll make sure accounts and permissions are set up correctly, MFA and access controls are consistently applied, devices are secure and up to date, and workplace technology simply works. You’ll also work closely with HR and internal teams to ensure people have the right access from day one and are removed promptly when they leave.
A key part of the role will be building clear, documented processes and maintaining an accurate IT asset inventory, so that the environment is well controlled and doesn’t rely on tribal knowledge.
Your first 90 days
You’ll have a clear opportunity to make an impact quickly. In your first three months, you’ll establish effective identity and access processes, ensure our email and collaboration platforms are fully operational, strengthen endpoint management and security, take ownership of office networking and workplace technology, and establish a comprehensive IT asset inventory.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have 8+ years’ experience in IT systems administration, including at least three years as the primary administrator in a professional engineering, defence or similarly demanding environment.
You’ll be confident managing Active Directory or Entra ID for 50+ users, including RBAC, MFA and access reviews. You’ll also have strong experience administering Microsoft 365 or an equivalent cloud productivity platform, managing endpoints, patching and security tooling, and supporting LAN, WiFi, VLANs and network troubleshooting.
Experience in aerospace or defence would be valuable, as would knowledge of automated joiner-mover-leaver workflows and regulated asset management.
How you work matters
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting the fundamentals right. You’ll be security-conscious, highly organised and comfortable taking ownership when something needs fixing.
You’ll communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues and bring a service-focused approach to supporting users. Just as importantly, you’ll believe in documenting processes, improving how things are done and leaving the environment better than you found it.
What success looks like
Within your first year, success will mean that new starters have the access they need before they arrive, MFA is consistently enforced, access reviews are completed and acted upon, our collaboration platforms remain highly available, and our IT asset inventory is accurate and up to date.
If you’re an experienced systems administrator who enjoys being the person responsible for making sure the technology works securely and reliably, this is an opportunity to have genuine ownership and impact.
