Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and dignity
• Support the implementation of personalised care plans tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences
• Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision, ensuring safety at all times
• Provide emotional support through active listening and effective communication, fostering trusting relationships
• Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and document any changes or concerns promptly
• Support clients with light housekeeping tasks to promote a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed, ensuring timely and safe transportation

Requirements

• Good communication skills in English, with the ability to connect empathetically with clients and team members
• Prior experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
• Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to health and safety protocols diligently
• Valid driving license is advantageous for roles involving transportation responsibilities
• Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a desire to help others
• Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
