What you will do: Pre Sales Engineer is a key role, reporting to the Domain leader-MEA responsible for our business across Middle East & Africa region. You will be based in Dubai and will be part of GCOE team that is focused in expanding our footprint and customer base across the region to achieve our strong growth objectives. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to deliver our business objectives for our business. How you will do it: As a Pre sales engineer you will use your in depth knowledge of building automation and controls to complete bid/proposals and meet the specifications set out by the customer. This will involve preparing RFI’s, attending site surveys, bid-clarification meetings, seeking quotations from suppliers/sub-contractors, estimating in-house product costs and estimating costs for engineering, labor and project management. You’ll manage multiple tenders simultaneously, using your extensive estimation experience to co-ordinate with the client on specifications and technical clarifications ensuring we submit proposals that are competitive, meet requirements and are on time. What we look for: Required Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation or Similar). Minimum 10+ Years relevant experience. Strong technical knowledge in designing and estimating Data Center BMS & PLC Systems. Strong technical knowledge in selecting field instruments for data center projects. Strong technical knowledge in HVAC controls design optimization. Preferred to have Johnson controls METASYS/PLC Systems or equalenet product experience. Negotiation Skills & Vendor Management Proficient in using MS Office and Visio. Result oriented, tenacious, self-motivated, strong synergy and customer focused approach. Professional verbal and written communication. Fluency in the English language is essential. Understanding of UAE/GCC controls business. Must have valid UAE driving license.
