Drive delivery of Closing the Gap reforms across NSW Government Bring your strong policy, stakeholder engagement and project delivery capability Clerk Grade 9/10 roles base salary ($129,464 - $142,665 per annum), plus super and leave loading About the Role The Senior Project Officer leads and delivers policy and program initiatives that support NSW Government commitments under Closing the Gap. You will manage complex projects, provide strategic advice, and work across agencies and stakeholders to drive outcomes that support Aboriginal communities. You will join our Closing the Gap team within the Reform and Innovation Branch in Aboriginal Affairs NSW, Premier’s Department. The team leads whole-of-government reform and partnerships with Aboriginal stakeholders to deliver long-term social, cultural, and economic outcomes. We’re Looking For Policy and Project Delivery: Proven experience delivering policy initiatives or service delivery reforms, including research, implementation and evaluation. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Strong ability to engage, consult and negotiate with government, community and external stakeholders, and provide clear, high-quality advice. Cultural Capability: Demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with and understand issues impacting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
