We are a busy Toronto family looking for a reliable, flexible, and energetic individual to join our household as a Family Assistant / Household Manager. This is a hands-on role supporting both parents and children, ensuring our home and family life run smoothly.
Role Overview
This position blends childcare, personal assistance, and household management. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day tasks, helping with everything from errands and driving to playing with the kids and assisting with household logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide childcare support: babysitting, supervising play, engaging in activities with the children.
• Act as a personal assistant: running errands, managing small tasks for both parents, occasional banking.
• Drive family members when needed (especially evenings/nights).
• Oversee and coordinate house maintenance tasks (e.g., booking contractors, meeting service people, ensuring upkeep of a large home).
• Handle shopping, groceries, and family errands.
• Travel with the family to Collingwood on weekends during ski season to provide childcare and household support.
• Be flexible and available for “as needed” requests, ensuring the smooth running of family life.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a nanny, babysitter, household manager, or personal assistant is strongly preferred.
• Valid G driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and professional.
• Able to manage multiple tasks with flexibility and a positive attitude.
• Comfort with children and willingness to actively play, supervise, and engage.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English.
