Description

Ace Trades and Technical Institute is urgently looking for a carpentry instructor for Red Seal training to be able to teach a 6 Saturdays refresher certification course in carpentry at our facility in Surrey or remotely from his /her home that can be located anywhere in Canada.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Journeyman Red Seal carpenter who is capable to teach this certification course.The candidate should have Red Seal Certification, with ideally 5 years of work experience as a Carpenter and have taught apprentices in the past .
This course is 40 hours long and is taught 6 Saturdays in Surrey.Students will be candidates who will be looking to challenge their Carpentry Red Seal Exam.
A caring and supportive approach will be required by the instructor, to ensure success to all students. This position is contract based per course, and will be renewed for the next courses, based on outcome of the first teaching assignment.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
