Scope of Work The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the general maintenance and orderliness of the property and oversight of the maintenance systems to ensure optimal operations and client/tenant satisfaction in accordance with department protocol. Schedule: Third Shift 11:00pm - 7:30am. Days off to be determined. Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour (Based on experience), paid time off, medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k Job Responsibilities Responsible for completion of work orders for tasks related to the physical maintenance and repairs of the assigned buildings utilizing work order related software programs Responsible for implementing routine physical improvements Respond to emergency situations in accordance with departmental protocol Assist Supervisor in establishing and maintaining all equipment, tools, supplies in stock, inventories and logs Implement, with Supervisor, a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan and maintain all related records and logs Assist with controlling expenses associated with the operation of the buildings Communicate effectively to appropriate individual building status and changes Adhere to all safety standards, policies & procedures, codes of conduct and best practices Act in a professional and courteous manner at all times with clients, co-workers, and vendors Utilize materials, supplies, tools and other building property in a safe, productive manner Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Ability to learn new skills and be independent as well as work well within a team atmosphere Requirements 2 - 4 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role General knowledge of trades - plumbing, electrical, carpentry, lock smith, painting, and HVAC Ability to build, implement, and track a comprehensive preventive maintenance program Attention to detail: maintenance issues must be documented and reported.
