This role offers consistent collaboration and clear expectations around workflow and compensation. Position Overview Language Pair: English to Somali Domain: Information Technology Experience: No previous linguistic testing experience required. Training and guidelines will be provided. Device Requirement: Mac device with an M-series chip (M1, M2, M3, or M4) (mandatory) Responsibilities Conduct linguistic QA on AI-generated and localized content. Test software applications for language accuracy, UI consistency, and functional performance. Identify and report bugs, errors, and inconsistencies in both linguistic and technical aspects. Native proficiency in Somali with a good command of English. No prior professional linguistic testing experience is required. Strong grasp of cultural nuances and localization practices. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment. Good communication skills for collaboration with remote teams.
