As Director of Software Engineering, you’ll own the design and development of our software stack. You will write code, review architectures, and solve hard technical problems while also scaling a team around you, from Python pipelines that crunch terabytes of orbital data, to AWS architectures that scale globally, to WebGL visualisations that give operators a map of space. What You’ll Do • Architect and build core software platforms. • Prototype new products quickly, then scale them into robust, secure systems. • Lead hands-on development of real-time visualisation, analytics, and data processing pipelines. • Hardwire security-first practices into every layer: cloud infra, APIs, data, and UI. • Collaborate with Astrodynamics & product teams to deliver tightly integrated systems. • Build and mentor a team of exceptional engineers who share the same “build-first” ethos. • Push the boundary of what’s possible in defence-grade software systems for space. Specialization
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related degree is preferred. Knowledge of programming languages such as C# or Java and experience in web development are also desired.
