Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in TESOL, English/Composition, Linguistics, Foreign Language, or Education. Two (2) years of teaching college level ESL courses. Experience with online teaching platforms including but not limited to Blackboard, WebEx and Microsoft Teams. Prior experience in Course work for adult education certification in ESL or Certificate in TESOL Candidates must possess proven ability to effectively work with culturally, linguistically, and ethnically diverse faculty, staff, and students. Experience with reflective, interactive, culturally responsive pedagogical teaching techniques. They are expected to have excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong Information technology literacy skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.) Preferred Qualifications: Master's in in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English, Foreign Language, and two years of teaching ESL at the college/adult level. Or MA in Education with a focus on TESOL, secondary education, or adult education and two years of teaching ESL at the college/adult level.
