For August 2026, we are looking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Computer Science to join the dedicated team in our Technology Faculty at Island School. You will join an innovative and supportive learning environment, and will teach motivated students who enjoy their learning and are eager to participate in opportunities beyond the curriculum. The successful candidate should be able to teach Computer Science to a high level. Our students complete the CIE Computer Science course at IGCSE and we offer Computer Science at both Standard Level and Higher Level as part of the IB Diploma Programme. Experience in these courses would be an advantage. The successful candidate will also be required to deliver Design Technology lessons across the breadth of the curriculum as part of the IB Middle Years programme and run the VEX robotics programme within the curriculum and as extra curricular activities.
