The Solution Architect, Corporate Services is primarily responsible for technology/vendor assessments and the creation, review and approval of architectural solutions, supporting documents and artefacts to satisfy the business needs for Global Relay’s corporate systems, which include 3rd party SaaS services and often involve integrations with existing services both on-prem and cloud.
The Solution Architect works collaboratively with all applicable business departments (including Marketing, Sales, Finance, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations) to understand and refine requirements in order to select vendors and develop architectures which will support the current and future needs of the business. Although their main focus is on high-level design, the Solution Architect will contribute to low-level designs where required, collaborating closely with Engineering and Operations colleagues to run or participate in spikes and PoC’s.
