Job Description
Join our team and support our expanding traffic and road user safety practice in Ontario. You will have the opportunity to broaden your experience by being exposed to many aspects of transportation, including traffic operational studies, roadway and railway safety reviews, active transportation projects, traffic data collection and processing, research and literature reviews, and consultation with different stakeholders.
CIMA+ provides the opportunity of working with and learning from recognized senior professionals and industry leaders in the transportation field.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Co-op student currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
• Ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships and have demonstrated teamwork skills
• Well-developed written and communication skills with the ability to integrate illustrations and diagrams into written materials to communicate technical information to a variety of audiences
• Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Experience and knowledge in transportation studies, including traffic safety and operational studies is an asset
• Knowledge of the provincial and national guidelines and manuals, including Ontario Traffic Manuals, MUTCDC, Highway Safety Manual, and different TAC guidelines is an asset
• Strong Microsoft Office suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A valid Ontario driver’s license
  The salary for this position ranges from $23.75 to $29.40 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.
