Description Boater's World Marine Centers is seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver/Yard Attendant to join our team at our Grand Prairie, TX location. The Driver/Yard Attendant will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership's outdoor facilities and providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities: Driving: Drive company vehicles for tasks such as transporting boats, trailers, and equipment within the dealership premises or to off-site locations. Boat Handling: Safely and efficiently handle boats during launching, loading, and storage processes. Yard Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of the yard area, including sweeping, debris removal, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of boats and accessories stored in the yard. Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers with loading and unloading boats, answering basic inquiries, and directing them to appropriate personnel as needed. Equipment Operation: Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, trailers, and tractors in a safe and responsible manner. Assist Technicians: Assist service technicians with moving boats and equipment as required for repairs and maintenance. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and customers. Facility Upkeep: Assist in maintaining the overall cleanliness and appearance of the dealership's outdoor areas, including walkways and parking lots. Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and excellent customer service. *Other job duties as assigned by the manager; this job description does not encompass all the job duties that goes with this position* Requirements This position requires a valid Driver's License (must be licensed for a minimum of 5 years) and clean driving record. Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
