Warehouse Worker / Relief Driver
Overview:
We are looking for someone to join our team in Bristol, working for a vintage-inspired homewares company dedicated to providing unique and eclectic products that enhance the beauty of homes and gardens. As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to the efficient storage and distribution of our products.
Relief van driving to our own stores to help cover Holidays and sickness.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Safely load and unload delivery vehicles, utilizing proper equipment such as forklifts.
- Handle materials with care, following established procedures to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required while maintaining proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Assist in stock replenishment and inventory control processes.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with warehouse equipment.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Management System to optimize workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts or willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and stock management practices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse setting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
We offer a dynamic work environment where your contributions are valued. We also have several of our own stores that we deliver to, and maintain, from time to time you may be required to drive and deliver to these stores, a full licence and aged 25 and over is required for this.
We have a very flexible work ethic, and there may be options for working off site at our stores and building our exhibition stands.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.50-£13.00 per hour
