Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading electrical wholesaler busy warehouse team. You will need to posses a flexible, friendly and ‘can do’ attitude as part of our enthusiastic workforce.
For this role, you will ideally have experience within a driving role and have good local knowledge of the Ipswich and surrounding areas in Suffolk.

Duties as a Van Driver will be:

  • Multidrop van driving duties around the local and surrounding areas
  • Acting as the face of the company when doing deliveries
  • Making up customer orders for delivery
  • General warehouse duties including taking receipt of material from couriers and putting material away on the shelves

Skills and Attributes

  • Experience within a driving role is essential, ideally some warehouse experience.
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Have a clean driving license are vital.
  • Be prepared to be trained in the use of warehouse vehicles and equipment.

This is a permanent position 42.5 hours a week, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays. Overtime available. The postholder will benefit from on going training, generous pension and profit share scheme’s.
