JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, effective communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.
Full time shifts between Wednesdays to Mondays. The only day we are closed is a Tuesday. Start time is 8.30.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid driver’s licence; experience with commercial driving is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is beneficial.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.

• Operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items safely, ensuring that all products are handled with care.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with other staff regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of stock.
