JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. Self employed preferrable. This position involves operating mainly 7.5 tonne, 35cwt tipper vehicles, while adhering to safety regulations and company policies. The Driver will be responsible for collection & delivery of equipment & tools to & from various suppliers & sites, loading and unloading goods, managing delivery routes, and providing exceptional service to and from our sites, usually within a 35 mile radius.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as part of the job requirements.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other staff & management.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation tools.

• Safely operate vehicles, for deliveries and collections.
• Load and unload goods efficiently while ensuring proper handling of items.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist with other duties at our yard ensuring goods are stacked safe & neatly ready to be deployed.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for moving heavy items.
