REQUIREMENTS:

• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid NMC PIN
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a care home or clinical setting
• Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills
• A genuine passion for delivering outstanding care and making a difference in residents’ lives

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As the Deputy Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of the service, working closely with the Home Manager to ensure the delivery of exceptional care. You will lead and support the nursing and care teams, promote best practice, and help maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the highest standard of nursing care is delivered
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the care and nursing teams
• Support with audits, care planning, medication management, and risk assessments
• Work in partnership with residents, families, and external healthcare professionals
• Act as a key point of contact in the absence of the Home Manager
• Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies
