RESPONSIBILITIES: Technology Evaluation & Due Diligence Assess new vendor platforms, applications, and emerging technologies for suitability within the Emory environment. Conduct in‑depth technical and architectural reviews to validate integration feasibility and adherence to Emory standards. Architecture Development Produce clear and complete current‑state and future‑state architectural models. Design integrated solutions that align with enterprise architecture principles and are compatible with the Emory technology stack. Present the solution intent to the Architecture Review Board for approval. Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Alignment Collaborate with the information security team to perform comprehensive risk analysis on new solutions, including security, privacy, interoperability, and operational risks. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to HIPAA, security policies, enterprise AI governance, and healthcare regulations. Business Continuity & Resilience Assist customers and project teams in completing the Disaster Recovery (DR) Scoring Matrix. Ensure solutions support Emory’s business continuity and resilience requirements. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with security, AI governance, infrastructure, data, and application teams throughout the evaluation and implementation lifecycle. Serve as a trusted advisor and technical translator for stakeholders across technical and non‑technical domains. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proficiency in architecting solutions using cloud platforms (Azure preferred), Epic, and HL7 routing engines such as Corepoint. Proven track record of producing solutions that align with enterprise objectives in the healthcare industry. Operates with sound judgement utilizing a risk based approach. Ability to drive decisions forward. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, or related field.
