POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Technical Documentation & Process Specialist with an engineer’s mindset to support both IT and Production teams. This role will combine technical problem-solving, process documentation, and cross-department collaboration to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across the organization.
This position goes beyond traditional technical writing — we need someone who understands how systems work, can troubleshoot alongside engineers and technicians, and can then translate that knowledge into clear documentation, workflows, and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical support environment, coupled with strong organizational and communication skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering, Technical Writing, IT, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 3–5 years of experience in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or IT support environment.
• Background in technical documentation, process improvement, or operations support.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Strong understanding of engineering or IT concepts, with the ability to learn complex systems quickly.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, Adobe Acrobat, and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, FrameMaker).
• Experience with diagrams, schematics, and technical illustrations.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as ISO, CJIS, or OSHA preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
