Supplemental Information Assistant Director for Administrative Services will serve as our Director of Clinical Informatics for BHDDH’s new Electronic Health Record system. This role will be responsible for the implementation and subsequent Maintenance & Operations (M&O) of the EHR solution. Leading and managing a team of EHR clinical and non-clinical analysts responsible for system configuration, reporting, workflow optimization, and operational support. This role partners closely with clinical leadership, operational stakeholders, and information technology teams to help ensure the EHR supports clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and organizational priorities across both hospitals. While this role provides leadership for EHR governance and decision-making, it remains actively engaged in day-to-day informatics operations, workflow design, system optimization, and end-user adoption. The Director of Clinical Informatics will be responsible for leading and managing a team of EHR clinical and non-clinical analysts responsible for system configuration, reporting, workflow optimization, and operational support. Key Responsibilities: •Provide strategic leadership for the implementation, budgeting, optimization, and ongoing support of the EHR and related clinical systems. •Lead EHR governance activities, including access management, system policies, and prioritization of enhancement and change requests while ensuring governance processes remain clinically practical and operationally responsive. •Function as a clinical and operational liaison, translating frontline clinical needs into system design, configuration, and enhancements, and helping to ensure clinical informatics and vendor work aligns with real-world workflows. •Direct EHR system optimization efforts include workflow design and refinement, configuration and build oversight, integrations and interfaces, and change management processes. •Collaborate with hospital leadership, finance, clinical, quality, Health Information Management, training, and IT teams to improve patient care, streamline workflows, and support regulatory and accreditation requirements. •Promote the effective use of decision support tools, reporting, and analytics to support clinical decision-making, operational performance, and quality improvement initiatives. •Provide regular communication, education, and guidance to leaders and staff regarding EHR capabilities, changes, and optimizations opportunities. •Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices with practical focus on applicability to the business. •Documentation of business-related processes, policies and procedures.
