As part of the Women’s Justice Team, you will play a key role in helping women successfully complete community‑based disposals and providing ongoing support to those returning to the community following release from custody.  Our team delivers a range of structured interventions, including group work programmes designed to promote safety, wellbeing, and personal development. We work alongside women to identify and address welfare needs, reduce risks, and support positive change. This post includes a significant group work facilitation element, offering the chance to contribute creatively to programme delivery while also providing individualised support to service users.  The Role In this role, you will: * Assess and manage risk and need, completing structured assessments and contributing to the development of effective, strengths‑based action plans.  * Empower women to engage with community supports, helping them build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to make meaningful progress in their lives. * Facilitate group work programmes, including preparing materials, planning sessions, delivering group interventions, and evaluating outcomes with service users. * Use IT confidently, both to support your own case management responsibilities and to assist women in developing their digital skills. * Contribute to multi‑agency meetings, sharing updates, offering professional input, and helping to shape coordinated, robust support plans.  * Handle finances responsibly, following procedures relating to service-user funds, petty cash, and group work resources. * Engage in ongoing learning and professional development, attending training, maintaining an up‑to‑date personal development plan, and contributing to continuous improvement within the team.  * Support statutory processes such as MARAC and MAPPA, contributing to risk management plans, safety planning, and interagency information sharing. * Work collaboratively with a wide range of partners including social work, health, housing and third‑sector organisations to achieve positive outcomes.  * Work independently when required, adhering to lone‑working procedures and demonstrating sound judgment and decision‑making.  * Travel throughout Fife to meet service users, attend meetings, and deliver group work.  The Person We are looking for someone who brings passion, empathy, and resilience to this demanding but rewarding role.
