What You’ll Own Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Execute month-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness. Prepare and maintain financial reports aligned with client requirements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting timelines. Maintain clean and structured workpapers. Payroll & Employee Setup Process payroll accurately using systems such as Gusto or similar platforms. Manage employee onboarding within payroll systems. Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and documentation. Core Accounting Operations Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Maintain general ledger accuracy across multiple entities. Manage day-to-day accounting activities with strong attention to detail. Sales Tax & Compliance Calculate and file U.S. state sales tax accurately and on time. Maintain proper documentation for all filings and compliance activities. Reporting, Analysis & Forecasting Support Build and maintain custom reports for business insights. Support budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide financial analysis and data visualization for decision-making. Process Improvement & Documentation Review and document existing accounting processes. Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Standardize workflows across clients and systems. Client & Internal Coordination Communicate regularly with leadership on priorities and deliverables. Support client-facing communication when required.
