Consultant – Accounting, Taxation & Business Operations

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

We are looking for a Sales Consultant – Accounting, Taxation & Business Operations who has strong knowledge of accounting and UAE taxation and can effectively manage the complete client journey from lead conversion to client onboarding and service delivery.

The company will provide leads to the Sales Consultant. The candidate will be responsible for calling and following up with assigned leads, understanding their requirements, converting them into clients, completing the onboarding process, coordinating the required services, and ensuring that the client's work is completed properly and on time.

This is a sales + client management + operations role, requiring the candidate to take ownership of clients from the initial enquiry through successful completion of their accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and related business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Sales

• Receive and manage leads provided by the company.
• Contact assigned leads through calls, WhatsApp, email, and other approved communication channels.
• Understand the client's business activities, requirements, concerns, and service needs.
• Explain and recommend suitable accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, Corporate Tax, and other related services.
• Conduct consultations and meetings with prospective clients.
• Prepare and share proposals, quotations, and service agreements as required.
• Follow up consistently with prospective clients and convert qualified leads into paying clients.
• Maintain accurate records of all leads, follow-ups, discussions, and sales activities in the CRM.
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop strong relationships with prospects and clients to generate repeat business and referrals.

2. Client Onboarding

Once a lead is converted into a client, the Sales Consultant will be responsible for the complete client onboarding process, including:

• Collecting all required documents and information from the client.
• Understanding the client's business structure and service requirements.
• Explaining the scope of services, timelines, documentation requirements, and process to the client.
• Completing the required KYC and onboarding formalities.
• Preparing and maintaining proper client records and documentation.
• Coordinating with the relevant internal teams to initiate the client's work.
• Ensuring that all required information and documents are received before work begins.

3. Client Work & Service Delivery

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for following through on the client's work after onboarding and ensuring that the required services are properly executed.

Depending on the client's requirements, this may include coordinating and handling:

• Bookkeeping and accounting assignments
• Financial statement preparation
• VAT registration and VAT-related requirements
• VAT return preparation and filing coordination
• Corporate Tax registration and compliance
• Corporate Tax return-related requirements
• Accounting and taxation consultations
• Management accounts and financial reporting
• Audit coordination and supporting documentation
• AML/compliance-related requirements where applicable
• Other accounting, taxation, and corporate compliance services offered by the company

The candidate must understand the client's requirements and ensure that the work is properly assigned, followed up, completed, and delivered within the agreed timeline.

4. End-to-End Client Coordination

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Maintain regular communication with clients throughout the service process.
• Follow up with clients for pending documents, information, approvals, and payments.
• Coordinate with accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, AML, compliance, and other relevant teams.
• Monitor the progress of client assignments and ensure timely completion.
• Review the status of ongoing work and keep clients updated.
• Identify delays or issues and take appropriate action to resolve them.
• Escalate complex technical matters to the appropriate senior or specialist team when required.
• Ensure that clients receive professional and timely service from onboarding until completion.

5. Client Relationship Management

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
• Understand changing client requirements and identify additional service opportunities.
• Cross-sell and upsell relevant accounting, taxation, VAT, Corporate Tax, AML, and business services.
• Handle client concerns and complaints professionally.
• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and service quality.
• Encourage repeat business and client referrals.

6. Internal Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate effectively with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Clearly communicate client requirements to the relevant team.
• Maintain complete and accurate client records.
• Update CRM and internal systems regularly.
• Track pending tasks, deadlines, documents, and client approvals.
• Ensure all client communication and commitments are properly documented.
• Follow company processes, policies, and compliance requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. CA / Inter CA / ACCA (qualified or part-qualified preferred).
2. 3–5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, audit, finance, or related services.
3. UAE experience is preferred.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and IFRS.
5. Good knowledge of UAE VAT and UAE Corporate Tax.
6. Understanding of bookkeeping, accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
7. Previous sales, business development, consulting, or client-facing experience is preferred.
8. Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or ERP systems is an advantage.
9. Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and client-handling skills.
10. Ability to understand client requirements and explain technical matters in a simple and professional manner.
11. Strong follow-up and relationship-management skills.
12. Target-driven and commercially aware.
13. Ability to manage multiple clients and assignments simultaneously.
14. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
15. Ability to work independently and take ownership of client assignments.
