You will be responsible for the identification and delivery of business development and growth (Sales) within existing and new markets. The successful candidate will develop and maintain business relationships while identifying client needs to advance AECOM’s growth and profitability in the market.The Sector Lead role will maintain a clear understanding of sector-related market activity, client needs, and key pursuits. This role is focused on coordination, sector intelligence, and working alongside the regional teams to ensure opportunities linked to the sector are well understood and supported.The successful candidate will develop strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring a qualified bid pipeline that is aligned to the capabilities of the wider business (Environment + Energy, Building & Places, Advisory, Transport and Program Management). This role works closely with our Nuclear delivery team focusing on the UK market and will work across all AECOM Business Lines (ensuring all propositions are reviewed to maximise opportunity, profitability and manage / control business and financial risk).This is a leadership position that will require you to take a tactical and strategic lens; being the main point of contact for all matters relating to market shaping, client relationships, bid management and solutions.
