Job Description Here is what you will do: Lead the design, specification, and integration of rotating equipment (pumps, blowers, compressors, mixers, aeration systems) will represent primary focus. Prepare and review datasheets, calculations, specifications, and technical reports, with emphasis on rotating machinery. Providing technical input on piping systems and water/wastewater treatment equipment (screens, grit chambers, sludge handling, chemical dosing, disinfection units) will be considered a very strong advantage. Contributing to the review and coordination of static equipment (tanks, vessels, filters, heat exchangers) when required will be considered an advantage. Ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable standards (ASME, API, AWWA, ISO), and client expectations. Coordinate mechanical interfaces with process, structural, electrical, and I&C disciplines. Review vendor documentation for compliance with project specifications and participate in design reviews. Develop mechanical equipment layouts, general arrangement drawings, and piping designs (2D/3D). Support preparation of material requisitions, BOQs, and project documentation. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the design team. Collaborate effectively with other AECOM offices and international project teams.
