· Plan and organize operations of the tool shop.
· Consult with suppliers to prepare specifications, explain proposals, and present engineering reports and findings.
· Participate in the design, development and inspection of tooling projects.
· Responsible for tracking tooling status from tool shops and reporting to the engineering department.
· Participate in APQP regarding die build/ repair status.
· Organize tryouts both at die shop and home line.
· All other duties as assigned
Skills Required:
· Blueprint Reading
· GD&T and fixturing
· Proficient with Microsoft Applications
· Strong analytical and organizational skills
· Solid Comprehension of tools and dies
· Excellent mechanical aptitude
· Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
· Motivated to work with tight timelines
· Some solid works experience
· *Current license
