THE OPPORTUNITY:
Join a dynamic team where you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering a successful project in Port Hope!
In this position, you’ll support field engineering activities on active construction sites, ensuring work aligns with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. You’ll collaborate with project managers, design teams, and contractors to resolve technical issues, conduct site inspections, and document progress.
Your role will also involve reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders, while helping maintain project schedules and budgets. Your contributions to project meetings and risk assessments will be key!
This opportunity is to join the WSP team responsible for the execution and construction of the Port Hope Area Initiative (PHAI) . The PHAI represents the federal government’s response to the community-requested solution for the cleanup and local, long-term, safe management of historic low-level radioactive waste in the municipalities of Port Hope and Clarington.
Please note we will consider candidates based in various locations throughout Canada, but this opportunity is based on-site 5 days/week at the project site in Port Hope, Ontario.
