ABOUT US:

Solar Generation is a forward-thinking solar solutions provider helping homes and businesses reduce their energy costs and environmental impact. We’re growing fast and need a talented digital communicator to help share our mission and drive growth across social medial platforms.
We’re looking for a full or part-time Social Media & Digital Engagement Specialist to manage all aspects of our social media presence, drive engagement, and increase brand awareness across the northwest. Ideally, you’ll also have experience with basic website updates and maintenance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of experience managing social media for a brand, preferably in energy, sustainability, or similar
• Strong content creation skills (copywriting, graphic design, short-form video, reels etc)
• Proven ability to generate engagement and measurable leads via social media
• Familiarity with content planning tools (Later, Buffer, Hootsuite, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, self-directed, and comfortable working independently

• Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, etc.)
• Develop and implement social strategies to increase reach, boost engagement, and raise awareness of our mission
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and community engagement in a timely and professional manner
• Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategy based on results
• Work with our team to align content with ongoing campaigns, seasonal offers, or news in the renewable energy space
• Assist with website updates and maintenance
