Durose Manufacturing Ltd, A leader and progressive manufacturer of fabricated Steel products, is seeking a Rolling Operator for their facility in Guelph, Ontario.
We are looking for an experienced Structural Steel, Pipe, and HSS Rolling Operator with expertise in custom steel plate, tube, and structural section rolling and bending. The ideal candidate will operate specialized rolling and bending equipment to produce precise, high-quality steel components that meet project specifications and industry standards.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural steel, pipe, and HSS rolling and bending.
• Proven expertise in custom steel plate, tube, and structural section rolling and bending.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with operating and maintaining rolling and bending machinery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Crane Operating experience
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in steel fabrication is a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS

· Experience with CNC-controlled rolling or bending equipment.
· Knowledge of material properties and behavior during rolling and bending processes.
· Ability to perform basic welding or fabrication tasks as needed.
Day Shift – Mon – Thurs 6:30am to 4:00pm, Fri- 6:30am to 3:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week

• Operate and maintain rolling and bending machines for structural steel sections, pipes, and hollow structural sections (HSS).
• Perform custom rolling and bending of steel plates, tubes, and structural sections to meet precise design specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production.
• Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines.
• Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products.
• Inspect finished components for quality, ensuring compliance with tolerances and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to optimize production processes.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on rolling and bending equipment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
