Head of GRC team (in construction)

Responsibilities:

• Support a portfolio of customers in their cybersecurity initiatives and manage entrusted projects.
• Contribute to Advens’ development through innovation and curiosity.
• Provide expert consultancy on regulatory compliance, risk management, and cybersecurity governance.
• Conduct gap analysis and support the development of client security strategies, technologies, policies, and programs, with a focus on Microsoft Cybersecurity.
• Act as a part-time or interim CISO (CISO-as-a-Service), offering strategic guidance and incident management expertise.
• Support audit readiness and ensure alignment with governance frameworks and business objectives.
• Assist in pre-sales activities by collaborating with corporate colleagues, preparing proposals, presenting solutions, and engaging with prospective clients.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities.
• Build and lead a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Examples of potential projects include:

• Developing a cybersecurity master plan for an industrial group.
• Redesigning the security policy for a global leader in mass retailing.
• Managing a compliance project for a hospital.
• Analyzing risks for a cloud migration project.
• Designing and implementing an awareness plan for a health sector unicorn.
• Organizing and conducting a cyber crisis simulation exercise for the general management of a banking group.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven Cybersecurity skills
• Strong customer engagement skills.
• Project management expertise
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to take on various roles, including pre-sales, people management, and project management.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to teach and adapt information for different audiences.
