JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Manage all aspects of outgoing and incoming shipments in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor, track, and resolve demurrage and detention matters.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport service providers, and internal departments (including warehousing) to ensure timely clearance and delivery of cargo.
• Engage with insurance surveyors to arrange and support cargo site surveys.
• Review and verify all shipping documentation and maintain proper filing systems.
• Process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with accounts receivable and payable tracking.
• Take on ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in shipping or logistics role.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office applications, and other relevant systems.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving attitude.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
