Collaborate with children, staff & families to assure High Quality early childhood education - Maintaining a ECERS score of 6 or higher and a CLASS score of Emotional Support – 5.5, Instructional Support – 3.5 & Classroom organization – Summary of essential job functions Responsible for planning & implementing a rich curriculum, which incorporates the California Foundations & Frameworks, and The Creative Curriculum. The teacher will be responsible for using the CLASS tool to guide intentional teaching and meaningful engagement. The teacher will be responsible for creating and maintaining the specific interest centers including Science, Math, Literacy & Language, Dramatic Play, Block Play, Sensory Play, and Reading Corner & Soft Places for relaxing using ECERS guidelines. Responsible to ensure daily Classroom cleanliness that meets with all Health & Safety Guidelines as defined within ECERS & the External Health & Safety review. Responsible to delegate cleaning routines to IA support staff. Responsible to support the Site Director to ensure compliance with all Licensing regulations, agency policies and procedures and the Education Code as applicable.
