The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the BankPro. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategies that drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the banking industry, risk management and compliance regulations, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in a senior executive role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Business/Finance or Law
• Proven experience in building relationships and serving as a liaison between financial institutions, governmental and regulatory bodies
• Deep understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements
• Proven track record of implementing and conducting risk-based compliance monitoring programs in a financial institution
• Experience in leading the regulatory and AML Compliance functions within a financial organization
• At least five years of experience in implementing and maintaining Anti-Money Laundering frameworks
• Experience in managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies
• Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.

• Develop and execute strategic plans in alignment with the vision and goals set by the Board of Directors.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and expansion.
• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide professional services for BankPro and would work with BankPro to develop (among others) its clientele and product offering.
• Coordinate with the IT team on the development of the trading module to include execution and post-trade reporting.
• Coordinate with global teams across the group to develop BankPro’s core product offering.
• Develop relationships with relevant card service providers and correspondent banking institutions through implementation.
• Develop relationships with brokers to enable electronic execution.
• Maintain local relationships with the regulator (SCB) and the Central Bank of Bahamas.
• Ensure the BankPro adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance
• Work with the Board of Directors to implement effective governance practices.
