Responsibilities

THIS POSITION WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

  • Preparing, reviewing, and finalising various internal and external reports for Corporate Banking and Japanese Banking, Head Office, Credit Decisioning, Compliance and Credit Risk Management teams.
  • Supporting preparation of inspections during APRA, Japanese-FSA, Bank of Japan and other external and internal audit inspections.
  • Supporting the delivery of detailed credit analysis and financial analysis of more complex corporate customers and potential deals.
  • Supporting the generation of detailed financial credit analysis using standard models to provide comprehensive information and analysis.
  • Monitoring deadlines of any required reports and credit applications.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Experience within a Bank or Financial Institution in a Credit Administration / Risk environment within Front, Middle or Back office.
  • Comprehensive understanding of banking practices and processes of the role of credit & related administration within a bank.
  • Ability to condense complex issues into a readable format in report writing or through other communications..
  • Ability to understand financial products, and financial statements.
  • High level of numerical and strong financial analysis skills, with high-level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Influencing skills both in writing through presenting a persuasive argument and verbally when handling objections.
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting or business related field.
  • Good understanding of APLMA loan documentation.
  • Japanese language skills are highly desirable.
