RESPONSIBILITIES: The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of persons and CEF property. They will respond to emergency and non-emergency situations or conditions and provide assistance or take actions appropriate to the situation within the legal limits of Campus Safety/Security authority. This position requires security surveillance of Culver Academies, including campus patrol by foot, bicycle, or vehicle, checking and securing buildings, investigating reports of suspicious activities, and striving towards a safe, crime-free campus environment. REQUIREMENTS: The requirements for this position include a High School Diploma/GED, must be at least 21 years old, must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license with a good driving record, and be willing to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends, and special events. Emergency Medical training is not required for employment, but the applicant will be required to complete training as soon as possible. Employees may use our on-site Fitness Center, have one FREE meal during the workday, and receive a discount at the Campus Store and at the Uniform Shop.
