This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Security Engineer based in France. As a Security Engineer, you will play a key role in strengthening the security, reliability, and trust of a widely used SaaS platform serving millions of users worldwide. Working within a product-driven engineering environment, you will embed security throughout the software development lifecycle while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This position offers the opportunity to design and implement security features, enhance infrastructure resilience, and drive secure engineering practices across the organization. Identify, investigate, and mitigate abusive or harmful activity to maintain platform integrity and protect the user experience. Define, promote, and continuously improve internal security standards, policies, and engineering best practices. Requirements Proven experience as a Security Engineer or in a similar application or infrastructure security role. Strong knowledge of secure software development practices and modern security principles. Experience designing and implementing security controls, tools, and automation within cloud-based environments. Solid understanding of application security, infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and threat mitigation. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams and communicate security concepts clearly.
