Strong research links are maintained with the ANU, University of Canberra and the Australian Catholic University. All specialties are represented with the exception of organ transplantation. Older Person Mental Health Services are specialist inpatient and community based mental health assessment and treatment services for adults in the ACT experiencing moderate to severe functional impairment due to serious mental illness/disorder with associated complex needs and risk. The successful applicant will have specialist experience in General Psychiatry and a Certificate of Advanced Training in Psychiatry of Old Age, and high-level skills relevant to both inpatient and community services, including the provision of ECT services.
