Utilize DSM-5 criteria to evaluate patients and apply appropriate interventions. Develop and initiate interdisciplinary treatment plans; participate in ongoing treatment planning and case management. Collaborate with all healthcare staff members and correctional staff to coordinate patient care and treatment. Consult with other professionals regarding therapeutic approaches and treatment adjustments. Document patient activities, treatment progress, and any changes in care plans. Adhere to established policies, procedures, professional standards, and all federal, state, and local guidelines. Comply with continuous quality improvement, safety, infection control, and environmental standards. Follow MEDIKO's Standards of Professional Conduct. Respond to requests from correctional staff and MEDIKO staff in accordance with facility guidelines and conduct standards. Follow the facility's rules, regulations, and chain of command while working within the detention/correctional environment.
