POSITION SUMMARY

The successful candidate will teach courses in Electric Circuits, Electrical Motor Controls, Instrumentations, Digital Electronics, Power Generation/Distribution, and Electronic Devices. The candidate will teach in the Electrician, Electrical Engineering Technician/ Technology programs.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Electrician License (442A or 309A) is required, and a Bachelor degree or higher is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the following areas: Electric Circuits, Electrical
• Motor Controls, instrumentations, Digital Electronics, and Electronic Devices
• Proven Canadian industrial electrical working experience in customer or technical support on motion control drives such as Variable Frequency Drives, PLCs, and electrical devices
• Demonstrated relevant technical experience in electrical wiring, designing, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level
• Experience in course or learning materials development, an asset
• Demonstrated competent written, oral and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team
• Demonstrated understanding of diversity, equity and inclusion to meet the needs of our diverse students, staff and college community
