As Mechanical Engineer in Product Development, you will work in project team to turn concepts into product designs. The holder of this position will take responsibility for a range of activities, including both the design of innovative new product and the ongoing update of existing product lines.

Your main tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Support development of products through knowledge of the performance requirements, including all aspects of the product design criteria, product function and customer needs
• Design of assemblies and components using CAD software
• Support efforts to verify and validate new product designs
• Ensure that our new products are designed for manufacturing and in accordance with operational needs
• Produce, control and maintain all required design documentation
• Support the organization’s intellectual property strategy.
• Ensure a safe, healthy and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company’s procedures and corresponding regulations

Profil :

• Knowledge or a first experience in bio-process, bio-medical and/or pharmaceutical processes would be a plus
• Mechanical design Engineer Degree
• About 10 years’ experience in stainless steel and plastic products, including their process manufacturing
• Proficient use of a recognized CAD design package
• Creative problem solver with good team-work attitude
• Disciplined and well-organized in documentation (plans, requirements, drawings, design reviews, and test methods)
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, GMP and BPD standards and procedures
• Fluent in written and oral English
• Fluent in written and oral German
