At KBR, we’re delivering projects that shape communities and support growth across South Australia, and we’re looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to bring their expertise, leadership and drive to our Adelaide team.

The Opportunity:

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll take ownership of the planning, design and deelivery of civil infrastructure projects across land development and building civil works. Working with a high-performing team, you’ll lead technical design, manage competing requirements, and contribute to projects delivered safely, on time and within budget.

You’ll be responsible for producing and overseeing high-quality design outputs, including calculations, specifications, reports and documentation, while ensuring compliance with Austroads, DIT and Australian Standards. From developing stormwater management plans to navigating complex design challenges, you’ll bring sound engineering judgement and innovation to every stage of delivery.

Beyond technical delivery, you’ll step into a key leadership role—mentoring junior engineers, guiding project teams and reviewing deliverables to ensure quality and consistency. You’ll also build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to project success through clear, well-structured proposals and reporting.

You’re a confident and capable civil engineer who thrives on delivering complex infrastructure projects and leading teams to success. You bring a solid technical foundation, commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset.
