As a Structural Engineering Intern, you will work in close collaboration with the Structural Engineering team in our Ottawa office. Your main responsibilities Participate in structural site investigations, inspections and reviews; collect field data and assist with the preparation of technical reports, inspection reports and compliance letters; Assist in the assessment and documentation of existing structural conditions through structural condition assessments and engineering studies; Support engineering calculations, analysis and design of structural elements including concrete, steel, masonry and wood, under the supervision of licensed Professional Engineers; Assist with the preparation and coordination of project deliverables, including technical reports, drawings and specifications; Collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers, clients and contractors throughout the project lifecycle; Support the Engineering team to meet project objectives related to scope, schedule and budget; Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies at all times.
