This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the future of our geotechnical services while mentoring emerging talent and delivering impactful infrastructure solutions.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (required).
  • Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering (preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Texas (required).

EXPERIENCE

  • 15+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
  • Experience managing TxDOT transportation projects.
  • Proven project management skills (scope, schedule, budget).
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Business development experience, including proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and independent problemsolving.
    TxDOT Pre-Certifications

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Less than fifty percent of the role involves conducting field investigations, including assisting with geotechnical drilling and site forensic inspections at various locations throughout Texas.
