Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cluster Director of Engineering to oversee the engineering operations of Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites and La Suite Dubai Hotel & Apartments. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance, safety, sustainability, and operational efficiency across both properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering teams across both hotels, ensuring smooth operations and preventive maintenance.
• Oversee all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and civil systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Drive energy conservation and sustainability initiatives in line with Minor Hotels’ Green Growth 2050 strategy.
• Manage departmental budgets, cost control, and capital expenditure planning.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and hotel brand standards.
• Support projects, renovations, and upgrades while minimizing guest impact.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork within the engineering department.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Engineering or a related field.

• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in hotel engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality maintenance systems and sustainability practices.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multi-property operations with strong financial acumen.
