Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position Fuel and Convenience Centre Associate (We like to call you Customer Service Representative) for our Deep Cove Fuel and Convenience Centre located at 10930 West Saanich Rd., North Saanich, BC. This is a part-time, permanent position offering a range of 16 - 24 hours per week. Our ideal candidate is available for evening closing shifts on weekdays and fully available on weekends.

• Always looks for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite.
• Loves the great outdoors. Rain, wind, snow and blazing hot sun mean nothing.
• Process till transactions, accurate and efficient; including cash, credit and debit transactions and gift card activations.
• Uses their product knowledge to assist customers and answer questions.
• Looks out for their safety and the safety of others.
• Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.
• Able to be on their feet nearly all of their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds).
• Knows their way around under the hood of a car is also helpful, but not essential - we train for this.

Besides working with the best group of team mates and serving fantastic customers, you will be dispensing fuel and propane, washing windows, checking vehicle fluid levels, cleaning, and stocking the convenience store, and generally ensuring our customers are taken care of and the location is clean and safe.
