Job Description We are currently looking for a Labourer for our Amos site. This is a temporary position, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Reporting to the Site Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for sorting various types of metals using manual or automated methods, while contributing to the site’s daily operations. Responsibilities : Sort different types of metals based on their characteristics; Prepare materials to meet quality standards (e.g., aluminum cutting); Operate various types of equipment and machinery (e.g., forklift); Ensure the work areas remain clean and safe at all times; Assist with loading and unloading customer vehicles; Identify and assign the correct type of metal to materials brought in by customers; Participate in shipping activities; Provide excellent customer service; Perform any other related duties; Qualifications To join our team : Experience in metal recycling (an asset); Knowledge of metals (an asset); Ability to work in a dusty environment; Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; Good physical condition; Ability to work safely at all times; Responsible and resourceful; Ability to work as part of a team; Punctual and reliable.
