What you will do As a Finance Manager you will oversee all financial aspects of the smart schools project, ensuring accurate financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. They will work closely with senior leadership to manage the financial health of the department, support fundraising efforts and provide key financial insights. Key Responsibilities: Manage the financial planning and budgeting process for the smart schools initiative. Oversee accounting, cash flow management and financial reporting. Ensure all financial activities are compliant with local laws, donor requirements and accounting standards. Provide financial reports to internal stakeholders, donors and partners, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Collaborate with the Fundraising team to track grant funds, prepare financial reports for donors and manage financial aspects of fundraising campaigns. Develop and maintain financial models to forecast and plan for the organization's financial future. Assist in the annual audit process and ensure financial records are maintained according to best practices. Monitor project expenditures, flag any variances, and work with the operations team to maintain budget discipline. Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
