Job Title: Project Manager (GFiT)
Location: Miami/ Doral, Fl – this role is hybrid.
Type: Temporary, projected to last into August
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of assigned projects affecting the Global Financial Systems (GFS) from inception to implementation, following the GFiT PMO process. This role includes overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure that all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. The project manager provides leadership in managing project teams, communicating the status for assigned GFiT projects, providing full project support, innovative ideas, comprehensive project documentation, testing oversight, and ensuring successful knowledge transfer to the support team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION:

• Bachelors Degree in accounting, finance, IT or related. PMP cert preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an application development Project Manager within IT / Finance organizations and experience in project planning, project management and team leadership.
• Proficient and skilled in utilizing the MS Office Suite (including PowerPoint and Excel), Visio and Microsoft Project. Experienced in application development, package implementation projects and release management.
• Must possess strong business acumen, deep understanding of technology, and a proven track record of delivering effective solutions and systems across multiple Brands/Departments across diverse geographic regions. Individual must be accustomed to working in a dynamic environment.
• The ability to diplomatically create and manage change is essential. Excellent organizational skills and awareness with a proven ability to operate in a matrix environment. Possess a personality and presence that will command the respect and achieve buy-in from multiple stakeholders. Must have strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with a proven track record in preparing and effectively delivering presentations.
• Ability to work a temporary position.
• Ability to work onsite when needed in Doral, Fl.
  The pay range for this role is $95-$107 an hour, paid every Friday.

• Must be able to own and manage project coordination across multiple projects and in conjunction with GFiT support/development teams, Brand team members and all project external resources. Encourages collaboration between project team members.
• Establishes all project schedules, plans and communications related to assigned projects and enhancements, which may include the establishment and use of MS Projects, SharePoint and Teams sites, tickets, and other tools/tables.
• Day to day liaison with project stakeholders and technical teams and conducts effective project meetings where the objectives are met, action items are clearly outlined, and the project is moving forward.
• Responsible for providing reporting and transparency to GFiT PMO and teams. Identify key issues, risks, mitigation plans and drive to resolution and/or execute mitigation steps. Can escalate issues as required to Upper Management to remove obstacles impeding successful project implementations.
• Manage scope, timeline and budget for own projects and be able to hold others accountable.
• Coordinates the preparation of requests for proposals, participates in vendor selection, and contract negotiation where appropriate. Ensures that the product fulfills the contract and meets the sponsor’s expectations.
